The Radiation Alert® Area Monitor is user-friendly, versatile, small, and lightweight. GM and Scintillation detector configurations are available. The user interface is an intelligent, resistive, touch-screen display, featuring a large five digit LED readout. The area monitor interfaces with either an internal or external detector; software is included in the price. User-selectable warning indicators alarm at low and high radiation alarm levels, low battery, and detector failure. NIST calibration certificates and Certificates of Conformance are available upon request.
The Radiation Alert® Area Montior features free software. The base unit interfaces with your PC via USB and/or Ethernet. The software displays a histogram, performs datalogging, and allows the user to save data on a database file. Other features include live reporting, mapping, and remote alarm condition monitoring. Track exposure, program custom alarms and conditions, and set email and/or text alerts. Secondary remote alarm and strobe option can be mounted up to 100 feet from the base controller unit.
