The P-210 solid disk sources are designed for use as reference sources. Half-life is 138.7 days. Each source is constructed using a Plexiglas disk. Standard size is 1.0 x 0.125 inches .

All disk sources have an uncertainty of ± 20% of the labeled activity (unless calibrated - for an additional cost). The P-210 source is of open window construction with the source material bonded to the surface of a silver foil mounted in the recess of the plastic disk. This design yields excellent emission of alpha particles with window losses.
